The annual TEQ LIP BRIDGES Collaboration and Partnership Forum provides a venue for service providers from across the GTA to learn, share, and discuss promising practices and innovative ideas on building successful partnerships, collaborations and service coordination.
We are proud to once again host the BRIDGES Forum as an in-person event at the Centennial College (Progress Campus) Event Centre on February 6, 2025, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The 2025 BRIDGES Collaboration and Partnership Forum will focus on the theme of “Collaborating for Stronger Inclusive Communities and Responsive Services”. The forum will bring together diverse speakers, innovative thinkers, and trailblazing leaders who will share approaches to strengthening collaboration in the sector to build more inclusive, innovative, and responsive services for newcomers. Our workshops will explore key issues in depth, including the changing landscape of employment services, Indigenous-newcomer relations, services for Francophone newcomers, the emerging challenges and opportunities with AI and technology in the sector, and much more.
The newcomer serving sector in Toronto and the GTA faces significant challenges. As we navigate issues like anti-immigrant sentiment, resource and capacity limitations, and burnout in the sector, this forum provides an opportunity to explore issues, build dialogue, and begin to envision a path forward.
We strive to make this an accessible and inclusive event for all attendees – please do not hesitate to contact the event organizer regarding accommodations and accessibility needs.
