As of October 2021, the TEQ LIP and Catholic Crosscultural Services are pleased to announce the next phase of the SDI-SNNT (Service Delivery Improvement – Scarborough Newcomer Needs and Trends) project, the “Service Delivery Data Hub Project”.
Building on the learnings from the SDI-SNNT project, the Service Delivery Data Hub Project provides a platform for Scarborough-based organizations to pool their service delivery data for joint analysis and to create evidence to help improve service planning and delivery. Supported by funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and implemented in partnership with the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC), the Service Delivery Data Hub project focuses on three core objectives:
- Expand and enhance the Newcomer Insight Collaborative (NIC) platform to enable diverse organizations to pool their service delivery and other relevant data for joint analysis;
- Conduct ongoing and deeper analyses of the data to produce Scarborough Newcomer Needs and Trends update data reports for participating agencies; and
- Continue to build the capacity of organizations to make better use of their data for program planning and evaluation through the creation and facilitation of data-focused capacity-building workshops.
