Make a difference in supporting newcomer employment!

Immigrant Employment T.O Day is an initiative led by the Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership (TEQ LIP) and organized in collaboration with various community organizations and stakeholders across Scarborough.  Immigrant Employment T.O. Day celebrates immigrants’ contributions to the Canadian economy, highlights resources and showcases innovative projects that connect employers and immigrant talent to prepare newcomers to succeed in Canada’s labour market.

The event is designed to increase partnerships, foster connections among service providers, employers, immigrants and local businesses while highlighting the tools and building blocks to achieve meaningful economic success.

Events will take place throughout the year and will include interactive and informative panel discussions led by industry experts, networking meet ups, workshops and knowledge exchange sessions.  Immigrant Employment T.O. Day aims to offer platforms for learning, partnership-buildings and further increase awareness of information and practical resources available to support newcomer employment and economic opportunities.
